NARS Desire: the Review

Lo que son los caprichos, o los antojos, o el ansia viva. Tanto "pueden" que al final sucumbí a los encantos del Desire de NARS. Ya me había iniciado con los coloretes en polvo de esta firma con la compra del Deep Throat (con el que estoy muy contenta, para qué negarlo) y esta vez "buscaba" algo que no tuviera en mi arsenal, un colorete totalmente distinto y a la vez favorecedor.

Desire es el típico colorete que en stand da un poco de miedo: es un rosa fucsia potente con un buen toque de morado y algo neón. Yo creo que es el típico "coco", no te lo compras porque piensas que es para pieles muy oscuras y/o para aspirantes al Circo del Sol.

This is how whims, cravings and such things work. They are so powerful that in the end I treated myself with NARS blush in Desire. I started with powder blushers from this brand when I purchased Deep Throat (which I love, I must admit) and this time I was searching for something really flattering and dramatically different from what I had in my stash.

Desire is the typical blusher that may scare the he** out of you: it is a neon bluish fuchsia with some hints of purple. To me, it is like the "boogeyman" of blushes, you don't feel attracted to it because you may think it is only for deep skin tones or else for applicants for Le Cirque du Soleil.

Como se puede ver el producto es totalmente mate, muy pigmentado y dura mucho puesto. Es aconsejable utilizar brochas con poco pelo o pelo muy suelto y si son de tamaño medio/ pequeño, mejor. Hay que recordar que si la brocha es grande podemos acabar como una Pepona. Otro truco es descargar la brocha de producto, bien en un pañuelo de papel o en el dorso de la mano, recordad: siempre de menos a más. Así además evitáis que se quede a parches (algo clásico de coloretes tan pigmentados y mates).

NARS Blush in Deep Throat: Review and Swatches

Ir con una amiga estadounidense al stand de NARS no tiene precio. Tampoco tiene precio ninguno ver la cara que se le pone cuando pides cualquier producto, como el colorete Deep Throat ("garganta profunda" en español).

Visiting a NARS corner in Spain with an American friend is priceless. It is also priceless to see her face when you are asking for any product, like for example the blusher in Deep Throat.

No voy a entrar en explicar qué extraña relación hay entre la cosmética-belleza y poner nombres con contenido sexual a los productos (esto daría para una entrada al estilo "Beauty_and_language" y para sacarle punta a un boli, queridas cebrillas).

I am not talking about what sort of stange relationship there is between cosmetic-beauty and putting names with sexual innuendos to products (that would open a whole new thread on the "Beauty_and_language" section, my dear little zebras).

My Basics: M·A·C Blush in Harmony and Kryolan Eyeshadow in Romantic

Lo que hoy os enseño son para mí dos productos básicos de tocador. Los tengo desde hace tiempo, casi un año y no me aburro de ellos.

What I show you today are two basics. I bought them some time ago, about a year or so and I don't get tired of them.

El primero es el colorete de Kryolan "Romantic". Como sabéis muchos, Kryolan es una marca de maquillaje profesional. Me encanta porque tiene productos muy buenos a unos precios asequibles. El problema suele estar en la falta de expositores en muchas tiendas de gremio. Cuando lo vi la primera vez pensé que era una sombra, pero la vendedora me dijo que se podía usar como sombra y colorete.

Abbamart: Belleme Soft Coral Blusher.

Adoro los coloretes de color coral. Creo que éste tiene que ser el tercero en mi colección. Sientan genial en pieles claras y proporcionan un brillo saludable.

I love coral blushes. I guess this one must be the third in my stash. They look beautiful on pale skins and provide a healthy glow.

Cuando  Abbamart me envió este colorete supe que me iba a encantar. Soft Coral es un colorete coral-melocotón con partículas brillantes de madreperla. Es una preciosidad.

When Abbamart sent me this blush I knew I would love it. Soft Coral is a peachy coral with mother-of-pearl micro shimmer to it. It is stunning.

Cargo Blush in Catalina.

Me encanta esta marca, así que cuando me enteré de que Sephora en España ya no va a venderla más, me disgusté. Había oído tantas cosas sobre las maravillas de los coloretes de Cargo que no me podía creer que aún no tuviera uno.

I love this brand so when I learnt that Sephora in Spain is no longer selling it I got upset. I had heard so much about the wonders of the blushes from Cargo that I could not believe I didn't have one yet.

En una de mis visitas a Sephora vi una buena cantidad de productos con descuento ("Precios Locos"). Sólo tengo un color así, uno de KIKO, pero la textura es talcosa y el color tira más a coral, siendo todavía rosa.

In one of my visits to Sephora I saw a nice stock of products with discounted price (they call it here "Precios Locos" not sure how it's called worldwide). I only have one colour like this, one by KIKO, but the texture is chalky and the colour leans more towards coral, yet pink.

La textura es increíble, sedosa y suave. Se difumina bien en la piel y deja un efecto natural en pieles claras, adecuado para cualquier época del año.

The texture is amazing, silky and smooth. It blends well on the skin and leaves a natural effect to fair skins, suitable for any time of the year.

Dos Ángeles/ Two Angels: NYX & M·A·C.

Dos favoritos, dos "Ángeles". Las casualidades ocurren y ésta es una de ellas.

Hace algún tiempo, buscando por el tocador, mirando a ver qué productos iba a reseñar me encontré cogiendo éstos.

Nunca Más/ Never Ever: Multiple NARS Orgasm

Llevo un tiempo planteándome si hacer esta entrada o no (como dice mi madre "Tú hija, haciendo amigos"). El producto sobre el cual trata este post es el Múltiple de NARS Orgasm.
I have been thinking over for a while if I should do this post or not (as my mom says "Making friends, uh?"). The product this post deals with is NARS Multiple in Orgasm.

Como todo sabemos es un producto que se lleva la palma a la hora de las cientas de revisiones (99% positivas) en blogs y webs de todo tipo.
Debo confesar que a mi me llegó esa ola de entusiasmo, y me dejé llevar. En un viaje a Madrid no hace mucho, insistí en mi búsqueda personal del ansiado tesoro.

As we all know it is a product that takes the biscuit about the thousand reviews (99% positive) in blogs and webs of all sorts.
I must confess that this hipe-fever got me, and I got myself carried away by it. In a travel to Madrid, not long ago, I insisted in my personal quest for this precious treasure.
