Monday Mani: Russian Navy by O·P·I.

Otro color, para mí, imprescindible. Esta vez es el turno de O·P·I. El azul es un color para todo el mundo. Al principio dudé entre éste y el clásico "Yoga-ta Get this Blue" ("tienes que pillarte este azul") que es un azul más claro. Finalmente elegí éste por su intensidad.

Another essential colour to me. This time it is the turn of O·P·I again. Blue is meant for anyone. At first I hesitated between this and the classic "Yoga-ta Get this Blue" which is lighter.
In the end, I picked this one because of its intensity.

Russian Navy ("Marina Rusa - Azul Marino Ruso" O·P·I y sus juegos de palabra) de la colección de Rusia, es una inquietante laca azul marino con micro purpurina roja. La impresión general es de que posee un toque de morado en alguna parte, pero no. De hecho, parece morada bajo determinadas luces pero parece ser debido a la combinación entre el azul y el rojo. La purpurina es apenas visible y de nuevo, es el típico caso de esmalte con "dimensión".

Russian Navy from the Russian collection is a haunting navy blue polish with red micro-glitter in it. The overall impression is that of having a hint of purple colour somewhere, but it hasn't. It actually looks purple under some lights but it is the combination of blue and red. The shimmer is hardly visible and again it is the typical case of a polish with "dimension".

Monday Mani: O·P·I in Every Month is Oktoberfest.

Ya puedo gritar "¡por fin!". Por fin está en mi poder, "mi tesoro", porque es eso, es un tesoro, una joya.

Esta semana pasada ha sido mi cumpleaños y la he recibido como un regalo de alguien muy especial. No tardé ni una hora en ponérmela y tengo que deciros que me ha encantado.

I can finally say "I did it!". I have finally got it, "my precious", because it is so, a treasure, a jewel.

My Bday was last week and it was given as a special gift from a very special person. I used it right away and I must admit I love it.

Habréis visto y veréis mil y un swatches de esta laca. Ese fondo azul oscuro con pigmentos rojizos casi inapreciables, pero que a la vista es ¿"marrón"? Una laca elegante y misteriosa, muy "vamp".

Pocas horas más tarde subí esta misma foto a Instagram (os recuerdo que me podéis seguir por ahí y por otras redes sociales). Sólo es en esta foto y al desmaquillarla donde se ve lo azul.

Monday Mani: Rusty Leaves with O·P·I Diva of Geneva.

Esta vez uno de mis favoritos, Diva of Geneva ("Diva de Ginebra" de la Colección de Suiza). Es un color frambuesa-ciruela rojizo con un toque "óxido" y micro purpurina dorada. Casi duocromo, por decir algo.
This time one of my faves, Diva of Geneva (Swiss Colection). It is a rusty-red plum-berry colour with micro golden shimmer to it. Almost duochrome so to speak.

Me encanta este color aunque al principio me paració un poco "viejuno", sobre todo cuando lo vi en casa.
I love this colour. However, at first I thought it could be a little "matronly", mostly when I got home.

Eurocopa 2012 / UEFA Euro Cup 2012: "Finally the Final"

Noche de tensión (y espero que de ilusión) la que nos espera.
Debido a las peticiones de muchos de vosotros, vuelvo a la carga con otra manicura para apoyar a nuestra selección en la final de la Eurocopa 2012.


Night of nerves (and hopefully full with excitement) we have ahead of us.
Due to several requests I got from many of you, here I go again with a new manicure to support our team in Euro Cup 2012.

Estuve pensando mucho en los símbolos que podía usar y en las placas que tenía en mi haber. La verdad es que ha sido un poco complicado, ya que no tengo ningún motivo deportivo en ellas.

I was thinking over about the symbols I could use and the plates I owned. The truth is it has not been really easy as I don't have any symbol related to sports in them.
