Normalmente me mantengo alerta con respecto a determinadas tendencias. Si las calaveras no son tu estilo, si eras de los que no veías "La Bola de Cristal", quizás es mejor echarse a un lado y dejar escapar ciertas modas.
Me dice una amiga gótica a la que adoro que "no todas las calaveras son bonitas". Y me lo dice probándome unos slippers de ante negro tachonados en el empeine con tan macabra figura. "No es que no me gusten, es que no son bonitas".

A good friend of mine who is Gothic says that "not all skulls are nice". And she says so as I try a pair of black suede slippers studded on the instep with such a macabre figure . "It's not that I don't like them, it's that they are not cool at all".

Ok, slippers de vuelta al estante (lo dice la experta, y punto). Pero yo sí veía La Bola de Cristal, admiraba a Alaska, sus estilismos imposibles, su pelo cardado, uñas infinitas y anillos grotescos. Esa era yo.
Ok then, slippers back to the shelf (because the experts says so, period). However I did watch La Bola de Cristal, admired Alaska and her bold looks, backcombed hair, infinite nails and bizarre rings. That was me.
