Back 2 M·A·C: the lipsticks.

Hoy os traigo una entrada muy esperada. Hace unas semanas os comentaba AQUÍ que había hecho mi primer Back 2 M·A·C (promoción donde entregas 6 envases y te regalan un labial).

Today's post has caused a lot of expectation. A few weeks ago I mentioned HERE that I had done my first Back 2 M·A·C (promo where you get a free lipstick handing in 6 empty containers).

Estuve pensando mucho qué labial escoger, la verdad es que no lo tenía muy claro, o sí. Quería algo invernal y favorecedor, un labial de cabecera. 

En una visita previa al stand me probaron el Rebel. Tenía tanta curiosidad de saber cómo me podía quedar que no me pude resistir (confieso haber visto cientos de reseñas y vídeos). Salí de stand y quedé para tomar café. Nadie como una madre para decirte a la cara cuando te queda algo bien (o fatal). A mi madre le gustó y 24 horas después fui a por él.

After much thought, I had not made my mind, or maybe I had. I wanted something flattering and suitable for winter, a stapler.
During a visit to the stand I was made up with Rebel lipstick. I was so curious to know how it would suit me that I could not resist the call (I must admit to have seen thousand of reviews and videos). I left the shop and went for coffee. Nobody like your mom to tell you at your face when something suits you or not. she loved it and 24 hours later I picked it.

¿Y por qué dos labiales en esta entrada? Bien, justo ese día me comentó una vendedora que podía entregar en el programa 6 cajitas vacías sin el godet metálico. Aleluya, cajitas fuera.

And why two lipstick in this post? Well, just this day I learn that you can hand in empty boxes without the refilling pan. Aleluya, off with the containers.

Back 2 M·A·C #1.

Creo que llevo comprando en M·A·C de una manera más o menos intermitente desde que abrieron el stand en Sevilla (¿puede ser desde el año 1998?) y justo ayer hice mi primer Back 2 M·A·C.

Para los que no lo sepáis, "Back 2 M·A·C" (De vuelta a M·A·C) es un programa de esta marca de cosmética para reciclar los envases de color negro. La iniciativa consiste en que por 6 envases de color negro (no sirven las muestras) te regalan un labial de lineal fijo.

No está nada mal si echamos cuentas. Un labial de M·A·C cuesta unos 18€ (y hay mucha variedad donde elegir).

I think I have been purchasing M·A·C products occasionally since they opened their stand in Sevilla (year 1998, maybe?) and I just made my first Back 2 M·A·C yesterday.

In case you don't know, "Back 2 M·A·C" is a programme made for recycling black containers. For 6 black containers (samples are not accepted) you can get a free basic range lipstick.

Not bad at all if you do the calculations. M·A·C lipsticks cost about US$15 (there is also a lot to choose from).

1. Paint Pot en color Painterly. Desde que se lo vi años atrás a Sarah Victor, supe que tenía que probarlo. Es un básico de cabecera, un producto irreemplazable para mí, ¿por qué? Porque es específicamente una sombra en crema de color piel y mate, cosa que muchas marcas no comercializan (tienen sombras crema pero con brillo). Es más, no sólo es de mi color de piel sino que al ser modulable y ligeramente rosado corrige perfectamente las despigmentaciones y zonas más oscuras del párpado. Me aporta mucha luminosidad y hace que las sombras aguanten bastante (muchas veces uso debajo un primer o crema preparadora para que las sombras se adhieran mucho más).

Fue dejarlo en el stand y traerme otro. ¡No puedo vivir sin él!

Since I watched Sarah Victor using it a long time ago, I knew I had to try it. It is a staple, an irreplaceable product for me, why? Because it is specifically a cream eyeshadow, nude and matte, something which many companies don't mechandise (they offer shimmery products instead). Besides, not only is it my exact skin colour, but being buildable and slightly pinkish it conceals dark and despigmented zones. It provides a luminous effect and make the eyeshadows to stay longer (many times I also use a primer to increase this effect).

I left one in the stand and just repurchased. I can't live without it!
