Stewart Weir: espíritu y talento.

Hay veces en las que belleza es bipolar. Hay veces en las que la obsesión por captar la luz, deja en un segundo plano a la sombra. Cuando luz y sombra cohabitan dando lugar a un espacio de ambiente, de atmósfera capturada, entonces  podemos apreciar el verdadero valor de la fotografía artística.

Este es el caso de Stewart Weir, nacido en Brighton, Inglaterra. Fotógrafo independiente desde 1993. Ha publicado sus trabajos a nivel internacional en National Geographic Traveller Magazine, Esquire, GQ, Vogue, Stern, Paris Match, etc. Sin contar con sus colaboraciones para más de 40 libros.

Fascinantes y con una emotividad cinematográfica, sus “Photo Storys” (historias en imágenes) te arrastran inevitablemente al lado más sensible del ser humano, el hogar, el drama y éxtasis de lo cotidiano, el momento irrepetible…

There are times where beauty is bipolar. There are times where the obssession to capture light, puts shade aside. When light and shade cohabit to create a space of environment, of captured atmosphere, then one can really be aware of the true value of artistic photography.

This is the case of Stewart Weir, born in Brighton, England. Freelance photographer since 1993. He has published and exhibited internationally in National Geographic Traveller Magazine, Esquire, GQ, Vogue, Stern, and Paris Match etc. besides his collaborations in over 40 books.

Fascinating and with an almost movie sensitivity, his "Photo Storys" inevitably drag you into the most emotional side of humanity, home, the drama and rapture of everyday life, the unrepeatable moment...

Konading 4: Blue China

Este look es de los pocos que he repetido en todo este tiempo. Ha recibido buenas críticas y a mi parecer, queda bastante elegante en la uña.
This is one of the looks I have repeated all this time. I have been complimented about it and in my humble opinion, it is a quite elegant nail design.

Había visto varios vídeos en YouTube sobre el degradado con esponja y decidí darle una oportunidad a esta técnica.
I have seen many videos on YouTube about the gradient made with a sponge and decided it was high time to give it a go to this technique.

Con una base de laca de uñas de Sephora en tono azul oscuro, laca que me está dejando de gustar por lo espesas que las hacen últimamente, hice un degradado suave en verde con tonos metalizados.
With a base coat of dark blue polish by Sephora, which I am starting to dislike because of their thickness, I made a soft gradient in shimmery green.
